Nationally known for her dedication and contributions to the industry, Tanya Nash is a reputable addition to the Asphalt Testing Solutions & Engineering (ATS) team. Throughout her tenure she has served on many state and national committees and research projects expanding her knowledge in asphalt properties and characteristics nation-wide. Exposure to international specifications and test methods led Nash to experience the vast uses and challenges of asphalt pavements and products worldwide.
Nash was instrumental in the development of PG Binder Specifications for recycled materials as well as the QC program for Florida’s Asphalt Liquid Suppliers. She was also involved in the development of an alternate binder specification making ground tire rubber and polymer modified binders a market driven product.
Nash was a driving force in the development and maintenance of the Florida Department of Transportation’s Asphalt Construction Data Management System. Her technical insight paired with her experience in research and field operations provides ATS customers with meticulous reporting after completing site investigations and forensic analysis cases.

Nash is a professional engineer licensed in Florida and Alabama. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science & Biomechanics and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. She is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers, Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists, Association of Modified Asphalt Producers and is a certified Asphalt Mix Designer and Quality Control Manager. She is a standing committee member on Transportation Research Board AFK 20 Committee for Asphalt Binders and a member of three active panels for the National Cooperative Highway Research Projects.
ATS is a locally owned and operated, independent asphalt testing company in Jacksonville, Florida. ATS personnel manage and staff the on-site laboratories for Duval Asphalt Products, Inc. as well as provide qualified asphalt roadway technicians for state, commercial and private jobs.
