ATS Asphalt Binder Technicians Earn CTQP Plant Level 1 Certifications

Congratulations to our Asphalt Binder Lab team! They each earned their CTQP Asphalt Plant Level 1 certifications, which means they are qualified to sample and test asphalt mixtures at production plants, ensuring all materials meet the standards set by FDOT.

This certification requires passing a written exam and proficiency exam demonstrating practical skills. This certification covers knowledge of various asphalt testing methods, such as density calculation and ensures test results are reliable and accurate, which is crucial for quality control, dispute resolution, and ensuring asphalt pavements meet FDTO specs.
